Gîtes (Self-contained apartments)
The Haylofts
With views over the Auxois hills, two recently completed self-catering gîtes are available for weekly lets. Situated opposite the main house, the gîtes are both on the first floor of our old barn and incorporate high ceilings with original beams.
Living Area
Each self-contained gîte has a large living area with a small well-equipped kitchen, a wet-room with shower, wash-basin and toilet, and a bedroom with double bed, which can be converted into twin beds. There is a sofa-bed in each living area; each gîte sleeps 2/4 persons. Laundry facility available.
Kitchen
Decorated to a high standard with floors of natural wood, old tomette tiles, and sea grass in the bedrooms, all rooms have central heating for snug winter breaks!
Shower Room
Downstairs, guests have the shared use of a laundry room, garaged parking and a large family room situated in the old stables. There is a large table for communal meals and an old French bed, on which to curl up and read a book! This room has kept original features such as beamed ceiling, troughs and feeding byres.
Bedroom
There is a grassed area with shrubs and a secluded garden with barbecue.
If you want to share a holiday with friends, family or grandchildren, here is the ideal accommodation. The fridge/larder can be stocked with basic needs before your arrival (by prior arrangement) and meals can be prepared and brought over to the gîtes (with 24 hours notice).
